About me
Hey there! My name is Kelsey and I am your pet's new best friend!
I moved to the area from Philadelphia in 2019 where I was a full-time pet sitter. I now work at an animal shelter in Tacoma, and make time to exercise, socialize, and spoil pets all over the south Puget Sound as much as I can!
I have yet to find a greater joy in life than spending time with and caring for animals.
I discovered my passion at just 6 years old, when I would knock on my neighbors' doors and ask to walk their dogs. I am so fortunate to have been in this role for over 10 years both professionally and as a past time. I have adopted the nickname 'Aunt Kelsey' as I treat my clients' pets like they are my immediate family; caring for them as I would a niece or nephew. I aim to make your pets feel safe and comfortable, as if to almost forget you aren't there!
My Pets
I have three pups, each one has something different to offer if you are looking to help socialize your pet!
Mocha is our spayed female Husky mix who came to us in December of 2019. A friend needed help taking care of her financially. We fell in love with her and she became ours in March 2020. She is as dog social as they come! She has a very calm demeanor, and is naturally accepting, submissive and independent. She has taught us so much about dog behavior.
Axle came to us a week later than Mocha, as his owners were struggling with their own medical issues and a 9-month-old Rottweiler was not helping. He also was struggling with medical issues of his own, as we found out a year later, he has Immune Mediated Poly Arthritis (IMPA) and his treatment is aligned with a pet who is completely autoimmune. We love him dearly, but he is our lemon, and we are so happy he found us. He attended daycare consistently starting at 8 weeks and has yet to find a person or animal he doesn't love. He impresses me more each and every day with his acceptance of other dogs in his space, around his resources, and even in his bed! You will definitely want to meet this guy!
Finally, our star of the show, our "purse dog" Chihuahua/ Shih Tzu mix named Chug. He found his way into our hearts in January of 2021. He is the king of play styles and is the perfect size to help teach a puppy the ropes. He has taken many pups under his paw, and it is just the coolest thing to watch.
Let's set up a meet and greet and let's all make friends!
ASK THE HUMANS!
I have called upon Kelsey to watch my dogs now for several years. First for my elder Great Dane and now for my English Lab and she has always done a superior job. She makes time for me in her schedule and then shows up on time. During her visit, I receive a text when she is at the house and a report on my dog as well as a picture to prove that he is doing well. As a very picky dog owner I have full confidence that my dog will be taken care of properly. The Great Dane and now the Lab are crazy about her.

Kelsey came over for her first meet and greet and from the moment we met her, we knew the love she had for animals. Having 5 French Bulldogs and a Pug, they are far from polite. She sat on the couch and allowed all of them to get comfortable with her in their own way without hesitation. Prior to finding Kelsey we did not go anywhere. Taking them all with us was out of the question and boarding them all was not in the budget. Kelsey has allowed our family to enjoy our time away from a quick overnight stay to a weeklong vacation. We know our dogs are in great hands when we hire her. Allowing our dogs to be left in their familiar environment has proved to be hands down the best choice. She is wonderful with all of them and their unique diet...She even picks up their poop! That right there had her hired back in a heartbeat. PDPS is top notch and I would recommend her to everyone I know.

I don't know who loves Kelsey more! Our pups love her to pieces and we so adore her. She treats our pups like they were her own and makes sure they have lots of love and all the essentials before she leaves each day. Kelsey is very genuine, professional and prompt. She truly cares about the pups and it definitely shows. We couldn't ask for a better sitter and highly recommend.

We highly recommend Kelsey as a sitter and trainer for our doggo. Not only is she responsible and attentive we refer to her as Ravens fun auntie. Kelsey always goes above and beyond by taking Raven for all kinds of fun adventures and plenty of exercise both physical and mental. We never have to worry when Kelsey and Raven are together. Our entire family considers Kelsey a member of our family.

I highly recomend Kelsey to take care of your pets! It's obvious that she loves animals and she is very responsible, showing up when promised and sending pictures of her interactions. I can always count on her to be responsive and help problem solve difficult situations even if she can't help herself. Miles and Chocolate love her! Five stars!
